about
The $25 million Eastern Irrigation Scheme is a joint project between Water Infrastructure Group and
Melbourne Water.
Under the partnership, Water Infrastructure Group designed and built Australia’s largest recycled water ultrafiltration treatment plant to supply Class A recycled water for the scheme.
Water Infrastructure Group also designed and built a 60 km pipeline network to distribute recycled water
to over 60 locations
for horticulture, recreational, industrial and residential use.
The Eastern Irrigation Scheme operates under the brand TopAq, a wholly owned subsidiary
of Water Infrastructure Group. TopAq will own and operate the scheme for
25 years.
